Things That Get Better With Age

Why do human-made things last longer?
The Simple Truth: Factory things "break." Human-made things "age." Most things you buy today are designed to be thrown away in three years. They are made of glue, plastic, and dust.
The Evidence: Look at a leather bag made by a master. On day one, it’s stiff. After ten years, it’s soft, dark, and beautiful. It has what we call a "Patina." It tells the story of your life. A plastic bag just rips and ends up in the trash.
Banan exists because we are tired of the disposable. We only back products made of real materials, such as stone, wood, and clay, that get better the more you use them. If it doesn't get better with age, we don't back it.
